The Carter Center Intern Program. The Carter Center offers opportunities for undergraduate juniors and seniors interested in contemporary international and domestic issues.

Idealist. A directory of nonprofit and volunteering resources on the Web, with information provided by 15,000 organizations in 130 countries. Maintained by Action Without Borders.

INROADS. INROADS develops and places talented minority youth in business and industry and prepares them for corporate and community leadership. Preference goes to African American, Hispanic and Native American high school and college students with 3.0 or better grade averages.

Internships in Youth Development Agencies. This database lists over 2,000 paid and unpaid internships in more than 500 nonprofit human service organizations nationwide. Maintained by the National Assembly of National Voluntary Health and Social Welfare Organizations.

Intern-Net. This database provides up-to-date internship listings and resources to students interested in Recreation and Parks, Hospitality, Sports and Health-related professions.

National Institute of Health. This site provides summer internship opportunities in Biomedical Research.

Smithsonian Internship Opportunities. Each of the Smithsonian's museums and many of it's research institutes and offices offer internships. This site has a centralized internship application referral service to all programs.

TV Jobs: Broadcast Employment Services. This site lists opportunities in the broadcast field.

The Washington Center. The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars provides internship opportunities in Washington, D.C.

Washington Intern Foundation. The Washington Intern Foundation is a non-profit organization provides information on internships on Capitol Hill and in the Washington, DC area.
